The first K-pop performance will be held on the Han River Bridge in Seoul.
The Seoul Future Han River Headquarters announced on the 22nd that it will hold a free concert ‘B-DAY PARTY : BURST Stage @잠수교’ to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the singer ‘SEVENTEEN’ in conjunction with the ‘Car-Free 잠수교 Walking Festival’ in Jamsu Bridge, Seocho-gu, Seoul, on the 25th.
The Seoul Future Han River Headquarters, Seocho-gu, Pledis Entertainment, and HYBE have joined forces for the performance at Jamsu Bridge. From the 23rd to the 25th, a large pop-up store celebrating SEVENTEEN's 10th anniversary will be operating around Sebit Island and Jamsu Bridge. The main event, this performance, will take place from 7:30 p.m. for one hour on the 25th.
The performance can be enjoyed from the Jamsu Bridge viewing area (6,000 seats) and the relay seats set up in Banpo Hangang Park (Yebit Zone, Standing Zone, Picnic Zone). The LED relay seats in Banpo Hangang Park are arranged in three locations: ▲Yebit Zone (900 people), ▲Standing Zone (8,850 people), ▲Picnic Zone (14,834 people), and entry is available on a first-come, first-served basis without separate reservations.
The city has a policy to ensure rigorous safety management for the performance, including controlling traffic in both directions along Jamsu Bridge before and after the event. Approximately 100,000 people are expected to gather over three days. Traffic on Jamsu Bridge will be restricted from 7 a.m. on the 25th to 4 a.m. on the 26th for vehicles and motorcycles. Access to Jamsu Bridge will be completely restricted for pedestrians and bicycles from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The Seoul city plans to implement traffic measures, including major navigation guides such as Kakao and T map, road variable message signs (VMS) and traffic broadcast announcements, temporary bus detours, and the placement of advance notices. Travel between Yongsan and Seocho can be facilitated via Banpo Bridge and Dongjak and Hannam Bridges, while buses passing through Jamsu Bridge (405, 740) will temporarily detour via Banpo Bridge.
The Jamsu Bridge viewing area will operate at 100% advance reservation, allowing only a limited number of entries, while relay seats in Banpo Hangang Park will limit occupancy through the installation of safety fences and traffic cones throughout the entire area. In addition, about 800 security personnel (including police and security) are planned to be deployed across the area from the Express Bus Terminal Station to the event venue. Moreover, in preparation for emergencies during the performance, a route for emergency vehicles (2.4m) will be secured within Jamsu Bridge, and a hotline has been established with six emergency centers near Seocho and Yongsan.
Park Jin-Young, head of the Seoul Future Han River Headquarters, noted, “The ‘BURST Stage @잠수교’ concert, held to celebrate SEVENTEEN's 10th anniversary, is expected to be a great opportunity to widely promote the charm of the Han River and Jamsu Bridge to fans around the world,” adding, “The City of Seoul will make thorough preparations so that visitors to Jamsu Bridge can safely enjoy the performance in close cooperation with private organizations.”
