After killing two people and injuring two others in Siheung, Gyeonggi Province, Chinese national Cha Cheol-nam, 57, was arrested on the 21st.

The Ansan branch of the Suwon District Court (Director General Jeong Jin-woo) held a pre-arrest examination for Cha Cheol-nam, who is facing charges of murder and attempted murder, and issued an arrest warrant in the afternoon. Judge Jeong noted, "There are concerns about flight and evidence destruction," explaining the reasons for issuing the warrant.

Cha Cheol-nam is suspected of killing brothers, both in their 50s and of Chinese nationality, with a blunt weapon at his residence in Jeongwang-dong, Siheung City, and at the victims' residence on the 17th.

On the 19th, he is also accused of stabbing a woman in her 60s, who owns a convenience store in front of her residence, and a man in his 70s, who owns the building where the residence is located, at a sports park 1.3 kilometers away.
