The Ministry of Employment and Labor said it will investigate whether there was a violation of the Serious Accident Act related to the fatal incident that occurred at the SPC Samlip factory in Siheung on the 19th.

According to the Ministry of Employment and Labor, at around 2:50 a.m. that day, a female worker in her 50s, identified as A, was involved in an accident when her upper body became caught in a conveyor while working at the SPC Samlip factory.

It is reported that A was trying to spray lubricant on the machine when the accident occurred.
