On the 19th, an incident occurred at a convenience store in Siheung, where a man of Chinese nationality wielded a weapon. Police discovered two bodies at the man’s residence and nearby. Authorities are currently pursuing the suspect.

According to police, around 9:34 a.m. that day, a man in his 50s, known as A, stabbed a convenience store owner, a woman in her 60s, known as B, with a weapon at a convenience store in Jeongwang-dong, Siheung. A fled the scene immediately after committing the crime. B sustained serious injuries to her abdomen and face and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Around 1:21 p.m. on the same day, A stabbed a man in his 70s, known as C, with a weapon in an outdoor parking lot at a sports park located about 2 kilometers from the convenience store. C sustained serious injuries to his abdomen and was transported to a hospital.

After receiving a report of the weapon attack incident at the convenience store, police responded and, based on their analysis, confirmed the identity of the vehicle’s owner that the suspect was believed to have boarded as it passed in front of the convenience store at the time of the incident. When police visited the residence of the vehicle owner, suspect A, and opened the door, they discovered a body of unknown identity. Authorities noted that the body appeared to have been deceased for several days.

Additionally, police discovered another body at a dwelling across from the convenience store where the weapon attack occurred. The identity of this body has not yet been confirmed.

The police believe that A may have killed or injured a total of four people with a weapon and are currently tracking him down. A police official noted, "The relationship between the suspect and the deceased, as well as the injured, has not been determined."
