Cha Cheol-nam is suspected of killing two people at his residence in Jeongwang-dong, Siheung, that day and injuring two others, including a convenience store owner nearby, by stabbing them with a weapon.
Cha Cheol-nam is 170 cm tall with an average build. He has a receding hairline and a short hairstyle. He is wearing a black jumper and white sneakers. He is also wearing black gloves and a white mask.
The police explained that Cha Cheol-nam might change his clothes or wear a hat. It is reported that he fled on a bicycle.
The police plan to provide a reward to anyone who gives critical information. The identity of the informant will be kept confidential.
The Gyeonggi Southern Provincial Police Agency has organized an investigative task force led by a Deputy Minister. They are primarily pursuing Cha Cheol-nam with the detectives and DAEWON members from the Siheung Police Station.
