Go Woo-rim, a member of the crossover male quartet Forestella, will be discharged on the 19th. Go Woo-rim is the husband of former national figure skating representative Kim Yu-na.
Go Woo-rim, who married former figure skater Kim Yu-na in October 2022, enlisted in the military in November 2023, just a year after his wedding. After serving in the Army Military Band's vocal ensemble, Go Woo-rim will be discharged today. At 8 p.m., he plans to communicate with fans through a live broadcast on Forestella's official YouTube channel.
Go Woo-rim plans to return to Forestella after his discharge. Even during his service, he visited Forestella concert venues and attended member Kang Hyung-ho's wedding, where he performed a congratulatory song with Kim Yu-na.
On the 1st of January, he said, “I will be discharged this year. I will quickly return to Forestella as a complete group and take the time to make a comeback.”
Go Woo-rim, a graduate of Seoul National University's vocal music department, is five years younger than Kim Yu-na. He gained recognition by participating in the JTBC music entertainment program 'Phantom Singer 2' in 2017. He formed Forestella with Kang Hyung-ho, Bae Du-hoon, and Jo Min-kyu, whom he met on the show.
