According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, rain is expected in the metropolitan area, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, and northern inland areas of South Chungcheong from the afternoon of the 19th, with rain occurring after 6 p.m. in the central and northern parts of North Chungcheong and northern inland and northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang.
The expected rainfall amounts are 5 to 20 mm in eastern Gyeonggi and inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, and 5 mm in Seoul, Incheon, and western Gyeonggi, with rain continuing until dawn the next day.
The minimum temperature on the 19th is forecasted to be between 8 and 15 degrees, and the maximum temperature is between 18 and 28 degrees. This is similar to or slightly lower than the normal range (minimum 10−15 degrees, maximum 21−26 degrees). The expected maximum temperatures by region are 21 degrees in Seoul, 18 degrees in Incheon, 27 degrees in Gangneung, 25 degrees in Gwangju and Daejeon, and 24 degrees in Jeju.
There will be dense sea fog over the West Sea, South Sea, and waters around Jeju. In particular, the island areas may experience dense fog with visibility of less than 200 meters, along with drizzle, so vessels navigating and operating in these areas should be cautious of maritime safety incidents.
Winds will blow strongly at a speed of 55 km/h (around 70 km/h in mountainous areas) mainly along the west coast, in Gangwon, northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang, and the east coast.
Fine dust levels are expected to be in the 'good' to 'moderate' range across all regions.
