On Saturday, the 17th, the nationwide weather will be occasionally cloudy, and in the evening, there will be brief rain in some areas such as the metropolitan and Chungcheong regions.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, occasional rain is expected in southern Gangwon Province in the morning, with less than 0.1 mm of raindrops falling in southern Chungbuk, Jeolla Province, Gyeongsang Province, and Jeju.

In the metropolitan area, inland and mountainous regions of Gangwon, and Chungcheong regions, precipitation is forecasted around the evening. The expected rainfall is about 5 mm in the metropolitan area and inland/mountainous regions of Gangwon, with less than 5 mm in Chungcheong.

The maximum daytime temperature across the country on this day is forecasted to be between 20 and 29 degrees Celsius. Expected maximum temperatures by region are Daegu 29 degrees, Chuncheon and Gangneung 27 degrees, Daejeon and Gwangju 26 degrees, and Seoul and Jeju 24 degrees.

From this day until 9 a.m. on the 17th, there will be dense fog with visibility of less than 200 meters mainly along the west coast and northern Gyeonggi inland due to sea fog. In other inland areas, visibility may be less than 1 km due to fog.

At airports, flight operations may be disrupted due to dense fog, so it is advisable for air travelers to check flight information in advance.
