The captain of the national football team, Son Heung-min (33, Tottenham Hotspur), filed a complaint claiming that a woman demanded money from him under the pretense of being pregnant, and the police are verifying the facts.

On the 7th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul stated that they received Son's complaint and are currently investigating a woman in her 20s and a man in his 40s on charges of blackmail.

Son reportedly claims that they had deceived him into believing he was pregnant last June and attempted to extort several hundred million won from him.

The police are investigating the precise circumstances surrounding the incident with those involved.
