The Seoul Tourism Foundation noted on the 13th that it held the '2025 first half MICE global expert launch ceremony' on the 10th to nurture future talent in Seoul's MICE industry.
The MICE global expert program is a project to support talent growth through educational programs and field experience opportunities, aimed at producing skilled personnel for Seoul's MICE industry.
At the launch ceremony, attended by over 100 individuals who passed the support team document screening, the agenda included ▲guidance on 2025 MICE global expert activities ▲basic education for Seoul MICE support team ▲team formation for the talent bank.
The guidance on MICE global expert activities included an introduction to the MICE industry dedicated organization 'Seoul Convention Bureau', the 'Seoul MICE Support Team' which serves as operational personnel for MICE events held in Seoul, and the 'Talent Bank' which enhances MICE expertise through practical training and close mentoring.
In the basic education for the Seoul MICE Support Team, lectures were conducted to understand the fundamental concepts of MICE and the industry’s value, along with enhancing the competencies needed as operational personnel on-site. Following this, 30 members selected from the Seoul MICE Support Team as part of the Talent Bank formed a team for various activities including competitions and mentoring.
