Recently, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul has been investigating Paik and Theborn Korea on charges of violating the Food Labeling and Advertising Act. Police are considering transferring the two cases related to the suspicion of using industrial metal cooking utensils, which were filed with the Seocho Police Station, to the Gangnam Police Station after concluding the investigation of the complainant. Theborn Korea's headquarters is located in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The Anti-Corruption Investigation Unit of the Chungnam Police Agency is also conducting an investigation into six complaints, including allegations that raw meat was transported in a truck while being left at room temperature during a local festival in 2023.
