The police are investigating allegations that special operation expenses were used to pay for the clothing expenses of former President Moon Jae-in's wife, Kim Jung-sook, and have secured some related materials from the Office of the President.

A Korean National Police Agency official stated at a regular press briefing on the 12th, "We have seized some necessary materials from the Office of the President for review." Previously, the police obtained a warrant from the Seoul High Court to execute a search at the Office of the President starting last month.

The police are also investigating allegations that Moon Jae-in's daughter, Da-hye, failed to donate funds raised from a charity event she organized. Da-hye held a charity bazaar-style exhibition at her gallery in December 2022. She was reported to the police for not fulfilling her promise to donate the funds raised during the event.

When asked whether the police had investigated Da-hye and whether there was evidence that she had not actually donated the funds raised, a police official replied, "It is difficult to comment on specific matters."
