Around 4:41 a.m. on the 10th, a Tesla vehicle crashed into a parked car in an alley in Mangpo-dong, Yeongtong-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, prompting police to investigate.
According to the Suwon Southern Police Station on that day, the Tesla vehicle crashed into one parked car and then collided with a wall before coming to a stop.
In the accident, a 60-year-old taxi driver operating the Tesla and a 20-year-old vehicle owner sustained minor injuries. Additionally, as a result of the impact, the wall collapsed, causing debris to hit six other parked cars, leading to damage to seven vehicles, excluding the Tesla.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident based on the testimony of the taxi driver, who said shortly after the incident, "I suddenly couldn't control the car," as well as analysis of CCTV from the scene.
