The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family announced on the 6th that it will develop and operate vocational training courses in collaboration with Google Korea for women who have experienced career interruptions and wish to re-enter the workforce.
This training course aims to train personnel to support the management of digital devices in elementary, middle, and high schools. It is completely free.
The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family will pilot the training courses at three centers in the metropolitan area: the Gwanak Center, the Guro Center, and the Bucheon's Center, starting from June. There are plans to expand nationwide next year.
Choi Min-kyung, director of the Women’s Policy Bureau, said, “We will continue to support more diverse vocational training for women who have experienced career interruptions to help them find employment.”
