The Ministry of the Interior and Safety noted on the 6th that it will dispatch a 'government-wide digital government cooperation delegation' to African countries such as Ethiopia and Egypt by the 14th.

The delegation will be led by the Director General of the International Digital Cooperation Division of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and will consist of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Legislation Agency, and the tariff office.

The Ministry of the Interior and Safety will share Korea's exemplary digital government cases through the delegation. It also plans to actively support relevant corporations to enter the local market.

First, it will seek digital government cooperation measures and plans for corporations to expand abroad in Ethiopia, the first destination. Subsequently, during the visit to Egypt, it will attend the opening ceremony of the digital government cooperation center, a symbol of cooperation in the digital government sector between the two countries.

Lee Yong-seok, head of the Digital Government Innovation Office at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, said, 'With the cooperation center as a foothold, I expect that our corporations' bases for overseas expansion will be expanded not only in Egypt but also in the Middle East and Africa, including Ethiopia.'
