Acting President and Prime Minister Lee Joo-ho, who also serves as the Minister of Education, said on the 2nd, "Since we are one month away from the presidential election, we will focus on fair election management."

The acting prime minister shared this response during a meeting with reporters while heading to work at the Government Complex Seoul on the same day regarding the question of whether there are key areas of focus as an acting leader.

He remarked on the situation of encountering what is termed "acting of acting of acting" by stating, "I believe governance operates as a system," and "I will do my best to ensure that governance can be stably managed."

Furthermore, regarding concerns that "the Minister of Education's acting role may create gaps in diplomacy, security, and trade," the acting prime minister said, "I will fully communicate with the National Assembly and discuss well with the cabinet members to do my best to manage governance stably."

The acting prime minister also stated concerning medical education, "I believe that medical students must return and I will ensure thorough academic management."
