The Seoul city bus union will begin a legal compliance protest on the morning of the 30th.

The Seoul City Bus Workers' Union declared the breakdown of negotiations with the management, represented by the Seoul City Bus Transportation Business Association, around 2 a.m. on the same day.

The management and labor sides held a mediation meeting at the Seoul Regional Labor Relations Commission starting around 5 p.m. the previous day. The negotiations lasted about 9 hours but did not reach an agreement.

As last-minute negotiations ended without success, the union will begin a legal compliance protest (safety operation) starting from 4 a.m. that day.

The union includes 64 companies, and it is reported that 61 companies are eligible to participate in the collective bargaining related to the dispute.
