On Wednesday, the 30th, the whole country will be generally clear with temperatures higher than usual.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the lowest temperature on the morning of the 30th is forecasted to be between 6 and 13 degrees, and the highest temperature in the afternoon is expected to be between 19 and 28 degrees. The temperature difference between day and night will be large, about 15 degrees, especially in inland areas.
The Korea Meteorological Administration also predicted that the atmosphere will be very dry until the 30th, with dry weather advisories in effect for most areas nationwide. Strong winds of 55 kilometers per hour are expected, especially in the western coastal areas and the mountainous regions of Gangwon. A representative from the Korea Meteorological Administration noted, "In the dry conditions, strong winds could cause small sparks to ignite larger fires" and urged people to be cautious about fire prevention. The dry weather advisories are expected to be gradually lifted starting from May 1 as it rains.
From the morning of the 30th, very strong winds of 60 kilometers per hour are expected to blow in the central offshore waters of the West Sea, and from the night, in the northern offshore waters of the southern West Sea, with waves expected to be very high at 1.5 to 4.0 meters, which may lead to a windstorm advisory. The Korea Meteorological Administration recommended refraining from approaching the coast as high waves caused by swells can breach breakwaters and rocky shores, particularly along the East Sea.
