Police have launched an investigation into an incident in which a substance with the words 'fraudulent National Election Commission' was buried in the flowerbed of the National Election Commission's Gwanak building.

The Gwanak Police Station in Seoul reported on the 19th that five foreigners, including one Namsung and four women, have been booked on charges of violating the Act on the Punishment of Violence (joint residence invasion).

On the morning of the 15th at around 7:15 a.m., they buried a white plastic object inscribed with 'fraudulent National Election Commission' and a red cloth with the English word 'Victory' in the National Election Commission's Gwanak building flowerbed. The Gwanak building of the National Election Commission was the site where martial law forces were deployed during the 12·3 emergency martial law.

It was reported that when this incident was reported to the police, the five individuals had already departed the country. Police plan to track down the whereabouts of the five foreigners and follow procedures such as issuing attendance requests.
