This weekend, large-scale rallies are expected to be held in various locations in downtown Seoul, leading to anticipated traffic congestion.

According to police and others on the 18th, the Free Unification Party, led by pastor Jeon Kwang-hoon of Sarang Jeil Church, will hold a 'National Assembly for Citizens' Resistance' in front of Donghwa Duty-Free Shop in Jongno-gu, Seoul, starting at 1 p.m. on the 19th. The rally will condemn the impeachment of former President Yoon Suk-yeol. The Free Unification Party has reported to the police that 180,000 people will participate in this rally.

Other support groups for former President Yoon will also hold rallies throughout Seoul. The Free University has reported that it will hold a rally near Exit 8 of the Gyodae Station starting at 2 p.m. and near Exit 4 of the Sinsa Station starting at 3 p.m. The Free Republic of Korea Advance Corps will hold a rally near Gangnam Station starting at 2 p.m.

The 'Emergency Action for the Resolution of Insurrection and Social Reform,' which has been urging the impeachment of former President Yoon, is set to hold a rally at 5:30 p.m. along the Gyeongbokgung Dongshijag~Naeja-dong section before marching on the road. The reported number of participants for the rally is 100,000.

The Candlelight Action will hold the 136th National Candlelight March in front of Exit 7 of City Hall Station at 3 p.m.

On the 20th, the Korean Medical Association will hold a nationwide doctors' assembly from 2 p.m. along the section from Exit 8 of City Hall Station to Sungnyemun. The association has reported to the police that 10,000 people will participate.

The National Coalition for the Elimination of Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities (NCPED) will hold a 'National Concentrated Resolution Rally for the Elimination of Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities' at Marronnier Park in Daehakro starting at noon to mark Disability Day, with a schedule of one night and two days.

A police official noted, 'In areas near the rally locations, please use public transportation, such as subways, whenever possible, and if you are using a vehicle, check traffic information in advance.'
