The Ministry of the Interior and Safety's Presidential Archives announced on the 17th that it has completed on-site inspections for the transfer of 'the 20th presidential records'.
The Presidential Archives conducted on-site inspections at a total of 28 institutions, including the presidential office, security, and advisory organizations, from the 9th to the 16th for six days.
The Presidential Archives explained that they provided guidance to production institutions on ▲prohibition of movement or reclassification of records ▲restricted access to record management locations ▲preparation procedures for department-specific electronic records ▲confirmation of major types of paper documents and methods for filing and organizing ▲status check of audiovisual records and methods for creating transfer lists ▲verification of quantity and condition of administrative items for transfer ▲operational status and transfer methods of web records (blogs, YouTube, etc.) by institution.
The Presidential Archives noted, "No significant issues were found regarding reclassification," and explained, "We provided guidance on transfer methods and preparations to transfer personnel and assessed the needs of each institution regarding items necessary for the sorting of records by production institution."
The Presidential Archives plans to complete the transfer of records before the start of the next president's term.
