A 'visiting health week' aimed at enhancing the physical and mental health of public officials will be simultaneously held at 10 government offices nationwide.
The Ministry of Personnel Management and the Government Employees Pension Service announced on the 16th that they would operate various health management programs for the 'visiting health week' at 10 offices nationwide until the 22nd.
This event, aimed at preventing public official disasters and fostering a healthy public service culture, is characterized by the integration and expansion of two separate events held last year: 'mindfulness week' and 'visiting health maps.'
The theme is 'an ordinary healthy day,' focusing on establishing self-care culture in the public sector through the formation of health management habits that can be practiced in daily life.
From the 16th to the 18th, health spaces will operate in areas such as the main hallway of the Sejong Government Complex, offering individual stress assessments, health condition measurements, personalized nutritional prescriptions, and expert exercise prescriptions.
For public officials who find it difficult to visit the Sejong Government Complex, psychological stabilization specialized programs will be simultaneously operated at public employee mental health centers nationwide, along with online courses such as 'the art of relaxation' and 'making a calligraphy desk calendar.'
Yun Won-jeong, head of the Ministry of Personnel Management, noted that 'the health of public officials is the foundation for providing the best service to the public' and added, 'I will continue to pay attention to ensure that a health culture that encourages self-care takes root in daily life.'
