The Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups will jointly promote three policy projects, including "early job creation support for small business owners facing closure."
On the 15th, the government noted that following strategic personnel exchanges between the two ministries, they held a "strategic collaboration council" to discuss these matters. Previously, the director of corporate job support at the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the personnel policy director at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups had implemented position exchanges.
The two ministries have selected three collaboration tasks to address the chronic labor shortage in small and medium enterprises: ▲ strengthening support for excellent local corporations ▲ promoting early employment for small business owners facing closure ▲ enhancing links to corporate hiring support.
"Strengthening support for excellent local corporations" involves the joint selection of job excellent corporations known as "great small corporations" by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, with the employment center providing comprehensive corporate support services, including hiring support. "Promoting early employment for small business owners facing closure" connects the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' "Hope Return Package," which provides job training for small business owners planning to close, with the Ministry of Employment and Labor's "Employment Promotion Grant" program, which supports employers hiring vulnerable job seekers.
"Enhancing links to corporate hiring support" is a policy that helps corporations resolve their labor shortages by connecting the "Corporate Leap Protection Package" offered by the Ministry of Employment and Labor with the "Corporate Human Resources Assistance Center" of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
A government official said, "The two ministries will continue to hold the strategic collaboration council once a month."
