During the strong winds that swept through the weekend, over 570 incidents of damage, including damage to dwellings, falling rocks, and power outages, were reported nationwide.

According to the 'Daily Status Report on National Safety Management' issued by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety on the 14th, a total of 574 incidents of damage occurred across the country from the strong winds on the 12th to the 13th, as of the count at 5 a.m. on that day. The types of damage included ▲dwellings 30 cases ▲falling rocks 3 cases ▲road obstructions 155 cases ▲signs 77 cases.

Landslide damage occurred in Junnam Gurye, Chungbuk Okcheon, and Gangwon Samcheok, and all measures have been completed. There were also power outages due to strong winds, temporarily disrupting electricity supply to 860 households in Jeju, 55 households in Ulsan Ulju, and 3,684 households in Gyeonggi Uijeongbu, which have now been restored.

On the previous day at the Gyeonggi Suwon logistics center, exterior wall panels fell, and at a construction site in Gyeonggi Bucheon, materials were blown away by the strong winds.

As of 5 a.m. that day, operations for 26 passenger ships on 18 routes, including Incheon to Baengnyeong and Mokpo to Hongdo, were suspended.

Scattered rain and snow are also expected nationwide that day. A wind advisory is in effect for several areas, including Gyeonggi, Jeju, and North Gyeongsang.
