The government is dispatching a 'Central Disaster Survey Team' composed of about 130 people to investigate areas in Ulsan, North Gyeongsang, and South Gyeongsang that suffered damage from the forest fire.
On the 9th, the Ministry of Interior and Safety held a meeting of the 'Pan-Government Recovery Support Headquarters' and finalized these details. Representatives from the Ministry of Science and ICT, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Startups, Financial Services Commission, Korea Heritage Service, and Korea Forest Service were present at the meeting.
The government has prioritized 'support for the housing convenience of disaster victims' as its top task. Additionally, it plans to conduct a joint investigation over a week starting today with a joint survey team composed of experts from nine ministries and about 130 people in various fields including forestry, urban planning, and rescue.
The Ministry of Interior and Safety said, "We will prepare policies that can be felt by the affected residents by linking various policies from relevant ministries."
