At a rally opposing the impeachment of former President Yoon Suk-yeol, a man attempted self-harm.

According to police on the 6th, around 9:40 a.m. that day, a 43-year-old man named Lee cut his abdomen multiple times with a sharp object near the Admiral Yi Sun-sin statue in Gwanghwamun Square.

Lee, who suffered lacerations, received first aid from the responding firefighters but returned home instead of going to the hospital. Police recovered the sharp object that Lee used for self-harm. He reportedly stated the reason for his self-harm was to oppose the impeachment of former President Yoon.
