Rain is expected in most parts of the country on Saturday, the 5th. Strong winds are expected mainly in the west coast and mountainous areas of Jeju Island. Morning lows are forecast to be between 0 and 8 degrees, while daytime highs are expected to be between 14 and 19 degrees.

The weather throughout the country is expected to be generally cloudy. Rain will begin from dawn in the metropolitan area and inland and mountainous regions of Gangwon Province, as well as the northern western coast of South Chungcheong Province. Rain is expected to fall in most parts of the country starting at 6 a.m., and is projected to cease in most areas from 6 p.m. to midnight.

In areas experiencing rainfall on this day, there may be gusts of wind along with thunder and lightning, so caution should be exercised regarding facility management and safety accidents.

Snow approximately 1 cm in depth is forecasted in the high mountainous areas of Gangwon Province, over 1000 meters above sea level.

Before 6 a.m. on this day, there may be fog with visibility of less than 1 km, mainly along the central west coast. In particular, some island areas in the West Sea are expected to have dense fog with visibility of less than 200 meters. Areas on roads or bridges located on the west coast may experience fog that is denser than in surrounding areas.

In most parts of the country, winds are expected to blow strongly with gusts of around 55 km/h. Notably, strong winds of up to 70 km/h (90 km/h in mountainous areas of Jeju Island) are expected, with the possibility of strong wind advisories being issued.

On this day, fine dust concentrations are expected to be 'good' to 'moderate' across all regions. However, temporarily 'bad' levels are anticipated in the metropolitan area and South Chungcheong Province at night.
