On the 2nd, Yoon Gap-keun, an attorney for President Yoon, responded “undecided” to ChosunBiz's question of whether President Yoon would attend the impeachment ruling date in person.

The Constitutional Court announced the impeachment ruling date for President Yoon will be held on the morning of the 4th at 11 a.m. Previously, former Presidents Roh Moo-hyun in 2004 and Park Geun-hye in 2017 did not attend the impeachment ruling date. Neither of them attended any of the hearings held at the Constitutional Court.

In contrast, President Yoon attended 8 of the 11 hearings held at the Constitutional Court. President Yoon also questioned witnesses and delivered a closing argument. Accordingly, interest is focusing on whether President Yoon will attend the ruling date.
