On the 1st, due to a government computer network failure, the issuance of civil documents such as resident registration certificates and seals was disrupted at some community centers.
According to the Ministry of Interior and Safety, starting around 9:14 a.m. that day, there were issues such as temporary connection delays in the resident registration system, causing the issuance of resident registration certificates and extracts to not proceed normally at some public offices.
The suspension of civil services that day occurred only at community centers in towns and districts. It was reported that there were no such issues online, such as with Government 24.
A Ministry of Interior and Safety official noted, "The computer network failure was restored around 9:40 a.m. that day."
The government is currently investigating the exact cause of this computer network failure.
