As the impeachment trial of President Yoon Suk-yeol is left with only the final argument, rallies for and against the impeachment took place in various locations across the country on the last weekend of the month, the 22nd.

The conservative Christian group Save Korea held a rally against President Yoon's impeachment at 2 p.m. in Daejeon on the 22nd. The rally took place in front of the Daejeon City Hall, where approximately 10,000 participants gathered, according to police estimates. Save Korea previously held rallies against impeachment in Daegu and Gwangju.

Participants in the rally against impeachment held Korean and American flags while shouting, "Release President Yoon" and "The Constitutional Court must dismiss the impeachment motion against President Yoon." It has been confirmed that People Power Party lawmakers Yun Sang-hyun and Jang Dong-hyuk, along with Jeon Han-gil, a lecturer on Korean history, attended the rally.

In addition to Daejeon, conservative groups like the Liberty Unification Party held rallies in Gwanghwamun area of Seoul, while about 20 of President Yoon's supporters gathered for a rally against impeachment in front of the Seoul Detention Center in Uiwang, Gyeonggi Province, where President Yoon is incarcerated.

Demonstrations calling for President Yoon's impeachment also took place across the nation. The Yoon Seok-yeol Regime Resignation Daejeon Movement Headquarters will hold a rally urging President Yoon's impeachment starting at 4 p.m. in Seo-gu, Daejeon. The organizers reported that 1,000 participants are expected.

In the Yeongnam region, rallies in support of President Yoon's impeachment will also be held. Rallies urging for President Yoon's impeachment and the dissolution of the People Power Party will take place at 5 p.m. in Dongseongno, Daegu, and Changwon, Gyeongnam, centered around civil society and labor groups.

The Democratic Party will also hold a party-level rally at 3:30 p.m. near the Constitutional Court in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The rally is expected to attract many participants, including members of civil society organizations, and key party leadership such as floor leader Park Chan-dae.
