Dust from China remains, causing poor air quality in most areas nationwide. The Korean Peninsula is under the influence of high pressure, and it will not be windy enough to wash away the dust or rain significantly.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration and the National Institute of Environmental Research, on the 21st, the fine dust concentration across the country, excluding Jeju, is expected to be at 'bad' levels. The metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungcheong, Daegu, and Gyeongbuk are expected to see 'very bad' levels of dust in the morning.

Fog will also be thick on the way to work. On this day, there will be areas with visibility of less than 200 meters, mainly in the metropolitan area, inland Gangwon, Chungnam, and Jeonbuk. The Korea Meteorological Administration noted, "Roads near rivers and lakes will have thicker fog than their surroundings," and added, "Fog may freeze on the ground, resulting in icy road conditions, so drivers should reduce speed and pay attention to traffic safety."

The morning's lowest temperature is forecasted to be between minus 6 degrees Celsius and plus 2 degrees Celsius, with the highest daytime temperature between plus 6 degrees Celsius and 12 degrees Celsius. A warm southwest wind will blow, making temperatures higher than average. From the afternoon, there will be rain drops of less than 5 mm in Gangwon Yeongdong.
