The special investigation team of the National Police Agency investigating the state of emergency declared by President Yoon Suk-yeol summoned and interrogated Chief of Staff Jeong Jin-seok on the 11th.

According to a report from MBN on that day, the police are said to have intensely questioned the Deputy Minister regarding the activities and circumstances before and after the declaration of the emergency.

Initially, the police had attempted to summon the Deputy Minister for questioning on the 30th of last month, but it did not materialize.

Previously, on the 7th and 8th, the police had summoned and interrogated Shin Won-sik, Chief of the National Security Office, and Kim Joo-hyun, Senior Secretary for Civil Affairs, respectively.
