The new drug development corporation OliX Pharmaceuticals announced on the 4th that it will hire attorney Ko Han-seok, who has conducted mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and venture investments in the United States, as its director of business strategy.
Ko graduated from Princeton University with a degree in political science and completed both a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and an MBA at Northwestern University. He worked at the American law firm Fenwick & West LLP, leading over 50 contracts and successfully closing more than five M&A deals worth over $100 million.
In the future, Ko will oversee OliX Pharmaceuticals' strategic partnerships with global pharmaceutical companies, attracting foreign investments, and developing subsidiary strategies. CEO Lee Dong-ki noted, "Ko's global deal experience and strategic capabilities will create significant synergy for our expansion into international markets."
