Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) announced on the afternoon of the 20th that it held a completion ceremony at the KRAFTON S.O.C building on its main campus. The event was attended by over 100 participants, including KRAFTON Chairman Jang Byung-kyu, KAIST President Lee Kwang-hyung, and KAIST Department of Computer Science Chair Ryu Seok-young. This building was constructed based on a donation of 11 billion won provided by KRAFTON and its former and current members to foster future software talent at KAIST. The 11 alumni, including Chairman Jang Byung-kyu, donated 5.5 billion won each, matched by KRAFTON, for a total donation of 11 billion won.

The Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute and the Marine Corps announced that they held a signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding to strengthen collaboration in the field of defense research and development centered on electricity and power on the 20th. Through this agreement, the Marine Corps will provide the Institute with information regarding the medium- and long-term acquisition direction of weapons systems and support the identification and promotion of related research projects. The Institute will provide various information and technical advice to help resolve the challenges the Marine Corps faces while enhancing efforts to advance weapons systems technology. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration announced that Deputy Minister John Lee attended the '2025 Space Resources Week' being held in Luxembourg since the 19th and discussed cooperation on space and lunar resource exploration with the Minister of Economy of Luxembourg and representatives of the Luxembourg Space Agency. Deputy Minister John Lee met with Luxembourg Minister Lex Delles and Luxembourg Space Agency Representative Marc Serres to discuss cooperation in space exploration and the field of space resources between the two countries.

The Korean Intellectual Property Office announced that it held a conference on invention and intellectual property under the theme 'Continuing Future Through Creativity and Innovation' at COEX Magok in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, on the 20th. Over 600 people attended the event, including the Commissioner of the Korean Intellectual Property Office, the Vice President of the Korean Invention Promotion Association, the Director of the Korea Patent Strategy Development Institute, patent attorneys, researchers, practitioners related to intellectual property rights (IP), and students.
