This is a view of the night sky taken with a telescope at Mauna Kea, the highest peak in Hawaii, in late February. The faint band of light visible in the dark but clear sky is the Milky Way, which contains billions of stars. You can also see the Rho Ophiuchi cloud in the upper right and the reddish circular star, Zeta Ophiuchi, in the central upper part.
