WOOJUNG BIO announced that Chairman Chun Byeong-nyeon (68) passed away on the 16th. The late Chairman Chun established WOOJUNG BIO in 1989 after graduating from Seoul National University College of Pharmacy.

The deceased contributed to the development of the new drug development ecosystem for the past 35 years. He served as an advisor for the Convergence Science and Technology Committee, an advisor for The Korean Academy of Science and Technology, an industrial-academic-research director for the Korean Society for Cancer Prevention, and as vice chairman of the Korean Society of Toxicology and the Korean Society for Environmental Mutagenesis and Carcinogenesis, as well as vice chairman of the Korean Pharmaceutical Association.
