The Ministry of Science and ICT will hold a forum on "Research and Development (R&D) Achievements in Fine Dust" on the 18th at 1 p.m. at the Daejeon Convention Center. The forum aims to share the major achievements of research and development projects launched to address fine dust with the public, and will also discuss the significance of these achievements with technology experts and researchers, as well as future directions for research and development. Major related research achievements will also be exhibited at the 2025 Korea Science and Technology Festival, which runs until the 20th.

The Science and Technology Policy Institute (STEPI) held the 463rd STEPI Science and Technology Policy Forum on the 17th at the 2nd floor of the In-song Hall at Changwon National University, in collaboration with the National Changwon University and the Changwon City Research Institute. The forum was aimed at exploring strategies for restructuring a science and technology-based regional innovation ecosystem and the role of glocal universities, featuring presentations and discussions on innovation strategies connecting Changwon's local industries and universities, as well as ways to create a glocal innovation ecosystem.

The Korea Institute of Radiological and Medical Sciences announced on the 17th that it held a seminar inviting international experts on the theme of "Achievements and Future Vision of Research and Development in Therapeutic Radioisotopes and Radiopharmaceuticals." During the seminar, world-renowned expert Dr. Cathy Cutler from the Brookhaven National Laboratory presented on the "Current Status and Outlook for the Production, Distribution, and Utilization of Radioisotopes for Neuroendocrine Tumor Therapy." Following that, experts engaged in discussions on the future development of radiopharmaceuticals between the two institutions.
