The College of Engineering at Seoul National University announced that it will establish the "Seoul National University Robotics Institute" to strengthen technological competitiveness and foster the startup ecosystem. To support this, the Korea Robot Industry Association signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for industry-academia cooperation on March 31 at the Gwanak campus. The two organizations plan to cooperate for the establishment and operation of the Seoul National University Robotics Institute.

The Korea Polar Research Institute announced that it will recruit a youth Arctic research experience group, "21C Dasan Junior," from the 1st to the 21st. A total of 4 participants will be recruited, and any South Korean youth currently enrolled in high school or of eligible age can apply. The selection will be finalized through document review, polar knowledge quizzes, and in-depth interviews. After selection, the group will undergo polar safety training and an orientation program before embarking on an 8-day Arctic experience trip at the end of July.

The Korean Academy of Science and Technology appointed Kim Kwang Yong, an emeritus professor in mechanical engineering at Inha University, as its 11th president. The new president, Kim Kwang Yong, is a leading authority in the optimal design of fluid machinery, having led the establishment of related international journals and conferences. He has served as president of the Korean Society of Fluid Mechanics, chairman of the Asia Fluid Machinery Committee, and dean of the College of Engineering at Inha University. His term will last 2 years.

The Korea Aerospace Industry Association announced that it has changed its name to "Korea Aerospace Corporation" and created the abbreviation "Aerospace Association." The Aerospace Association explained, "The intention is to ensure consistency and uniformity in the name and to simplify a previously lengthy name of 12 characters." Established in 1992, the Aerospace Association is a government-affiliated organization of the aerospace industry, with over 150 domestic and international aerospace corporations as members.
