On the 1st, Huons Group's medical aesthetic specialist company Humedix announced the appointment of CEO Kang Min-jong.

CEO Kang graduated from Korea University with a degree in food resource economics and joined Sanofi Korea in 2001, where he oversaw marketing for the Primary Care Global Business Unit. From 2019, he served as head of domestic and global marketing at HUGEL and CEO of its subsidiary J-World. Since August of last year, he has been leading the sales organization reform as head of sales and marketing at Humedix.

CEO Kang noted, "Humedix will expand in the domestic and global markets."

According to Humedix's individual financial statements, last year's revenue rose 6.3% from the previous year to 161.9 billion won, while operating profit increased 15.6% to 43.1 billion won, marking the highest performance in history. The company previously obtained product approvals for premium hyaluronic acid filler products in China, Brazil, Russia, Thailand, and Vietnam. It also launched the derma cosmetic brand "Elabie" product line.
