Dongwon Home Food announced on the 18th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the handmade burger franchise Downtowner for supply of food ingredients.
According to Dongwon Home Food, the two companies concluded the food supply agreement the day before at the Dongwon Group headquarters located in Seocho District, Seoul. Attending the event were Jeong Mun-gok, CEO of Dongwon Home Food, Lee Geon-ho, CEO of Downtowner, and other officials from both companies.
Through this memorandum of understanding, Dongwon Home Food plans to supply about 5 billion won worth of food ingredients annually to Downtowner stores nationwide. Dongwon Home Food purchases high-quality agricultural and marine products from farms through various methods, including direct purchasing and fixed-price and negotiated trading. It also handles around 30,000 types of food ingredients, ranging from processed foods to non-food items, including sauces and dressings manufactured in-house.
Jeong Mun-gok, CEO of Dongwon Home Food, said, “We will continuously strive to maintain a cooperative relationship with Downtowner for mutual growth and provide the best dining services by supplying fresh and safe food ingredients through a systematic management system.”
Lee Geon-ho, CEO of Downtowner, noted, “With this partnership established with Dongwon Home Food, we will receive quality ingredients and provide excellent quality products to consumers, aiming to grow as a brand representing premium handmade burgers.”
