Musinsa Trading, a subsidiary specializing in brand business of Musinsa, announced on the 14th that it has signed a partnership agreement with the Japanese streetwear brand 'Undercover' for domestic distribution and plans to open its first offline store in Korea next month.
'Undercover' is a brand launched in 1993 by Japanese fashion designer Jun Takahashi, characterized by unique graphics and visual artworks inspired by literature, music, and art.
Musinsa Trading plans to open the first brand store for Undercover in a key commercial district in Seoul at the end of next month and will gradually expand its offline distribution network thereafter. In addition, it plans to release the 2025 fall/winter collection at the editing shop 29CM and Musinsa Empty, which are operated by Musinsa.
Moreover, Musinsa Trading is strengthening its capabilities in overseas brand distribution by consecutively establishing partnerships with Japanese-based fashion brands such as Y-3 and Bape.
A spokesperson for Musinsa Trading noted that "we are focusing on diversifying the fashion ecosystem and expanding the tastes of fashion enthusiasts by officially distributing representative Japanese streetwear brands in Korea." They added, "Recently, as the status of the K-fashion market has risen, there is a growing trend of global brands positively considering entering the Korean market."
