Campari Korea announced on the 9th that it will launch the premium sherry cask single malt whiskey 'Speyside Sherry Cask 12 Years' from the British whiskey brand 'Berry Bros. & Rudd' (BB&R).
BB&R is a historic brand established in London, England, in 1698, having obtained the Royal Warrant certification twice. It has maintained its reputation as an independent bottler that selects excellent whiskey distillate from various distilleries in Scotland and matures and bottles it with its own philosophy and techniques.
The BB&R Speyside Sherry Cask 12 Years, which is being introduced this time, has elevated its quality compared to the blended malt whiskeys previously distributed. It uses distillate from Speyside, the heart of Scottish whiskey. In particular, it has undergone a premium maturation process in oak casks that previously contained Oloroso sherry wine, adding not only a rich fruit aroma but also a deep flavor of spiciness and nuts. As a result, it boasts a delicate and harmonious taste that achieves a perfect balance between sweetness and various spicy notes.
The alcohol content of the BB&R Speyside Sherry Cask 12 Years is 45.3% and the capacity is 700 ml. It will be sold sequentially through on-and-off trade channels and e-commerce.
