Frederic Arnault, the CEO of the Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH) group, known to be in a romantic relationship with Lisa from BLACKPINK, was recently reported to have visited Korea and met with representatives of major department stores in the country in succession.
According to industry sources on the 8th, Frederic Arnault, the CEO, met with Jung Joon-ho, the representative of Lotte Department Store, the day before, and on the afternoon of the same day, he reportedly met with Kim Young-hoon, the representative of Hanwha Galleria, Park Joo-hyung, the representative of Shinsegae, and Jung Ji-young, the representative of Hyundai Department Store in succession.
Frederic Arnault, the CEO, visited Lotte Department Store's Avenue L Jamsil and main store, Shinsegae's Gangnam and main stores, and Apgujeong Galleria Luxury Hall with LVMH employees the day before, and it was noted that he visited Hyundai Department Store Apgujeong main store on the morning of the same day. He reportedly focused on examining the Loro Piana store that he oversees.
Earlier, his father, Bernard Arnault, the chairman leading the LVMH group, also met with Dong-bin Shin, chairman of LOTTE Corporation, Yoo-yeol Shin, head of LOTTE Corporation’s future growth division, and Ji-sun Jung, chairman of Hyundai Department Store Group during his visit to Korea in 2023.
There are speculations that his visit to Korea was prompted by the BLACKPINK concert held on the 5th and 6th. Although he and BLACKPINK member Lisa have never officially acknowledged their relationship, they are effectively recognized as a couple.
