GS Shop announced on the 6th that it has increased the lineup and planning of health food ahead of the first major heat period on the 20th.
On the same day, GS Shop reported that last year's sales ratio for its mobile app during the first, second, and third major heat periods was 72% for the first, 17% for the third, and 11% for the second.
On GS Shop's TV home shopping channel, there will be broadcasts selling health foods such as ‘very nutty and hearty samgyetang’ by celebrity chef Lee Hye-jeong, ‘prepared king octopus’ by Chef Jeong Ho-young, ‘Gung Kitchen Lee Sang-min's special galbitang’, which surpassed 100,000 orders, and ‘Peking duck’ by Chef Lee Yeon-bok, ahead of the first major heat period.
Ryu Jae-eun, merchandise planner at GS Shop's food team, said, “Among the three major heat periods, the first is the peak season for health food demand,” and noted, “We will present health foods made with trusted ingredients and the chefs' unique recipes.”
