Sempio announced on the 3rd that it will launch four low-sugar sauces based on 79 years of accumulated fermentation technology. In line with the slow aging trend, the sugar content has been significantly reduced while maintaining the flavor.
The four low-sugar sauces launched by Sempio are ▲low-sugar taeyangcho gochujang ▲low-sugar seasoned soybean paste ▲low-sugar chogochujang ▲low-sugar bibimjang. All four types have a sugar content of 2 to 5 grams per 100 grams.
Sempio's low-sugar taeyangcho gochujang applies Sempio's unique 'rice low-sugar fermentation technology', reducing the sugar and calories from rice while preserving its original flavor. It uses only 100% taeyangcho without any chili seasoning, characterized by a clean and spicy flavor.
Sempio's low-sugar seasoned soybean paste utilizes the traditional recipe of 'Tojang', which creates a deep and rich flavor. It adds sweetness while considering health by using allulose.
In particular, Sempio's low-sugar chogochujang, often used to stimulate appetite in the hot summer, has reduced its sugar content by 90% compared to previous versions. Sempio's low-sugar bibimjang features a refreshing taste enriched with the natural umami of fermented beans added to domestic vegetable kimchi broth.
Sempio's four low-sugar sauces can be purchased at offline stores such as Emart and Lotte Mart, as well as on Naver Store's Semine Market.
