The Korea Consumer Agency (KCA) evaluated the quality and safety of 6 popular badminton shoes, and in terms of wearing satisfaction, Asics received the highest rating, while Kawasaki excelled in the institutional sector of durability.
On the 3rd, the consumer agency announced the results of an evaluation of whether the badminton shoes from 6 brands, including ▲Asics (RIVRE CF), ▲Kawasaki (K-086), ▲Mizuno (CYCLONE SPEED 4), ▲Vitro (FIORD), ▲Victor (A170II), and ▲Yonex (STRIDER FLOW), were suitable for indoor sports environments.
After performing athletic movements post-wearing, Asics recorded the highest score of 4.4 out of 5 points in the overall satisfaction inquiry. Vitro and Yonex followed with 4.1 points each. In terms of anti-slip performance, Kawasaki and 4 other brands received a rating of 'good,' and Mizuno was well-rated for alleviating stress on the ankle joints.
In terms of shock absorption capability, brands like Kawasaki, Vitro, Victor, and Asics demonstrated good performance. The evaluation of adhesive strength revealed that the product with the most robust bonding between shoe parts was Kawasaki, while Vitro, Victor, and Kawasaki were noted as the most resistant to outsole wear.
