OURHOME announced on the 30th that it will join the 'parenting support' initiative of Hanwha's institutional sectors, including retail services and machinery. OURHOME became part of the Hanwha Group family from May until last month.
OURHOME stated it will introduce the 'parenting support fund system' in the second half of this year, providing 10 million won (after tax) for each childbirth, regardless of the number of births. For twins or multiple births, the amount will be based on the number of newborns.
The parenting support fund is a system established this year by the institutional sectors of Hanwha's retail services and machinery to assist employees in balancing work and family.
After completing the acquisition last month, Kim Dong-sun, vice president of OURHOME's future vision, promised the introduction of the parenting support fund, saying, 'I want to share the philosophy of valuing employees' lives and families.'
As of this month, a total of 80 people have received the parenting support fund, with 50 from Hanwha's retail services sector and 30 from the machinery sector.
With the introduction of the parenting support fund, OURHOME plans to expand various support measures that can help employees balance work and family.
