Shinsegae Department Store announced on the 29th that it will open a pop-up store at its Gangnam and Centum City locations until the 10th of next month to celebrate the release of the Netflix series “Squid Game” Season 3, which was revealed on the 27th.

The first pop-up store, located in the basement level 1 of the Gangnam store and basement level 2 of the Centum City store, features the iconic characters “Young-hee” and “Cheolsu” from Squid Game, while a mannequin dressed as a “pink guard” is positioned in the center of the Centum City pop-up.

Additionally, in collaboration with 20 brands across fashion, accessories, sports, and lifestyle, more than 200 items of merchandise utilizing Squid Game will be sold exclusively.

Featured products include ODDSOCKS' jegi and gonggi, which are traditional Korean games playset, and keychains of Young-hee and Cheolsu by CAPLE.

Customers can also download coupons for discounts on merchandise purchases through the Shinsegae Department Store application (APP). After joining Shinsegae Department Store Membership, customers can receive a discount of 10,000 won for purchases over 100,000 won and a discount of 5,000 won for purchases over 50,000 won using any of the five Shinsegae affiliated cards (Citi/Samsung/Shinhan/Hana/BC Card) at the Squid Game pop-up store.

After the pop-up stores at Gangnam and Centum City conclude, additional pop-up stores will take place consecutively at Daegu Shinsegae and Times Square from July 18 to 31.
