Sae-A Trading, a clothing manufacturing export subsidiary of Global Sae-A Group, announced on the 26th that it has signed a clothing supply contract worth $100,000 (about 135 million won) with the Equatorial Guinea presidential monument.
Equatorial Guinea is an oil-producing country in Central West Africa with a population of 1.7 million. Sae-A Trading has signed an exclusive contract to supply clothing products such as T-shirts, hoodies, and hats as souvenirs to the Equatorial Guinea presidential monument. The first batch of clothing includes 9 types totaling over 3,700 pieces, including four types of short-sleeve polo shirts, two types of short-sleeve T-shirts, two types of long-sleeve hoodies, and one type of baseball cap.
Sae-A Trading studied patterns and colors reminiscent of Equatorial Guinea to design the products and suggested materials to finalize the contract.
The Equatorial Guinea presidential monument was recently completed after a renovation by affiliate Ssangyong Engineering & Construction. The company explained that the unique design and high-quality clothing proposals by Sae-A Trading satisfied the Equatorial Guinea presidential monument, based on the solid trust relationship built over many years between Global Sae-A Group and Ssangyong Engineering & Construction with the Equatorial Guinea government.
Ssangyong Engineering & Construction has completed two of the three international airports in Equatorial Guinea, including the Mongomeyen International Airport, which was completed in 2018 and Bata Airport, which was completed in October last year.
A Global Sae-A official noted, "The subsidiaries of Global Sae-A Group will continue to create sustainable results based on collaboration among subsidiaries in Latin America, Africa, and Asia, and trust with the governments, corporations, and institutions in those regions."
