Emart announced on the 25th that it will improve the Kintex store into a 'Starfield Market' on the 26th. The goal is to provide customers with a differentiated shopping experience by applying a 'new concept space innovation model' that encompasses relaxation and culture beyond grocery shopping.

The renovation focused on the sales area of 4,445 pyeong (14,694㎡) on the first and second floors, excluding the Traders and Electro Mart on the basement level. New designated areas for the Starfield Market's signature zones, 'Book Ground' and 'Kids Ground', have been created in the key spaces on the first and second floors, expanding the area where customers can enjoy relaxation and culture to approximately 200 pyeong (661㎡).

Popular existing brands, such as Olive Young and Daiso, have expanded their store areas by up to three times. Newly popular brands, including Musinsa Standard, Modern House, Decathlon, and Shinsegae Factory Store, have also been successfully attracted.

To commemorate the renovation of the Starfield Market Kintex store, a two-week 'The Misikho' pop-up event in collaboration with Harim will take place at the first-floor atrium special pop-up zone until the 9th of next month. A 'Squid Fishing Experience Zone' will be set up, where prizes will be offered through model fishing experiences on a large ship, along with a 'Make Your Own Cup Noodle' experience. There will also be a tasting zone for Harim's new product, 'The Misik Squid Chobimyeon', on weekends.

On June 28 and 29, the 'Balloon Magic Show', a participatory children's performance, will be presented twice each day at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. in the Kids Ground on the first floor. Afterward, participatory children's performances will be held every Saturday to provide cultural experience opportunities.

Emart Development Innovation Headquarters Director Wi Soo-yeon said, 'We will solidify our existing landmark position in the Kintex commercial area through proactive investment,' and noted, 'We will continuously provide the unique customer experience of 'Starfield Market', where leisure and shopping are fused, in the increasingly competitive retail market.'
